jwatte's Etwork simple network messaging library
I wrote a minimalistic networking library to allow delivering messages
between participating clients and servers (or peer-to-peer). The API is
intended to be simple to use, and it can use transport over UDP or TCP.
Version 0.1
was done on 2006-01-08, and comes with Windows DLL libraries, source,
sample programs and some documentation.

Here's a decent map editor for the GBA (editor runs on Windows XP):

jwatte's Warcraft III maps
Here are some maps I've made and we've played around the office. I
recommend jwatte-02-ft as the most polished and jwatte-03 for fast
skirmishes (it's TINY!).
Original Warcraft III maps:
- (6)jwatte-01.w3m: Medium size 6-player
map; low on creep.
- (8)jwatte-02.w3m: Medium-size 8-player
map; lots of good creep and free items. A little low on gold.
- (8)jwatte-03.w3m: Small-size 8-player
map; diagonal waygates; low on wood!
- (12)jwatte-04.w3m: Medium-size
12-player map; 3v3v3v3; shared expansions and fat gold mine in the
middle!
Frozen Throne maps:
- (8)jwatte-02-ft.w3x: Another rev on
8-player map; Frozen Throne only. Three more expansion mines than its
Reign of Chaos sibling. Item drops fixed compared to the RoC sibling.
Contains a Tavern. Good map.
- (11)jwatte-07.w3x: 5-1-5 set-up,
flexible from 3v3 and up; Frozen Throne only. Contains a Tavern. Live
playtesting shows some problems: some starting creep is too close to
player town hall, and gets auto-nuked. Some expansions are too close to
player town halls, and their creep gets auto-nuked. Computer can't build
well on the narrow ledges. Interesting play among people, but not a total
winner.
- (11)jwatte-08.w3x: 5-6 set-up,
flexible from 3v3 up; Frozen Throne only. Contains two Taverns, and two
Way Gates. Play against the computer seems good; I'll play-test live and
update this description when done.
